We received a gift of about 16 inches of heavy, sticky snow last night. The power departed at 12:30 am this morning, and was restored at about 6:00 pm this evening. Thankfully, the old Coleman generator we bought after the Ice Storm of '98 came through with flying colors. I must say it is quite fine to be able to shower and not worry about food in the refrigerator when the power's out.
